SEND-friendly hour London Transport Museum Depot @ Museum Depot – Acton

April 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us at our first Museum Depot open days of the year to discover how transport icons have shaped London and its identity over the last 200 years.

2026 is a year of milestones: marking 120 years of the Bakerloo line and 70 years since the celebrated red Routemaster bus hit the capital’s streets.

The Museum Depot is a treasure trove of transport history, usually closed to the public. Spend the day exploring our storehouse and discover the stories behind these milestone moments.

What’s happening

  • Hands-on fun: get creative with drop-in activities designed for all ages
  • Historic vehicles: see iconic trains like the 1927 standard stock and 1938 stock or unique buses such as the Routemaster RM1 and RM2
